The band YEARS consists of

Danny Gillan Guitar vocals
Claire Butler Vocals and Sax.
Daz Yates Bass Guitar
Roy Stockton Drums
Mark Bradbury Guitar.
Darren T Holcroft Guitar and backing

They have been together as a band since Dec 2005 and played their first gig 8 weeks later. They describe themselves as a rock and roll band but if you ask them their influences they would say funk, punk, country, swing, folk and even a little trip hop.

Their music has a retro rock feel but the lyrics are gritty and truthful with an anthem like quality in places. All in all the kind of music I like to drive to.

If you ask the band what ambitions they have, they would say "...to play on Jools Holland or at Glastonbury".
